Terry Yau (Electric Guitar/Acoustic Guitar/Arranger)
Terry Yau graduated from Berklee College of Music majoring in Professional Music. While at Berklee, he studied with renowned musicians/teachers such as Richie Hart (George Benson), Tomo Fujita (John Mayer), Bred Willmott and Tim Miller. Upon graduation, he played hundreds of gigs at galleries, halls, festivals, bars and restaurants in Toronto, Boston, Taiwan, China and Hong Kong. Terry now resides in Hong Kong and remains active in the music scene.
Bud Leung (Drummer/Percussionist)
Bud started playing drums at the age of 14 and studied with Simon Chui and Rebecca Ng. After he graduated from his high school, he started to develop his music career by teaching and performing in Hong Kong. In 2007 he was awarded the Exhibition Award (Drum Kit grade 8) by the Trinity College of Music (London). In 2012, Bud graduated from LA Music Academy with Associate Degree in Performing Arts (Drums) , under instruction of Joe Porcaro, Ralph Humphrey, Anthony Inzalaco, Micheal Packer, Aaron Rafael Serfaty, Richie "Gajate" Garcia, Gary Ferguson, Dave Beyer, Matt Starr, Steve Pemberton, Jerry Watts etc. Bud had also play with great musicians like Philip Bynoe, Steve Billman, Roberto Montero, Jackson Allen, Peter Kastner, Peter Boskovich, Brad Rabuchin, Ken Song, Dave Pozzi, Howie Shear etc.
Marcus Ho (Double Bass/Electric Bass/Music Director/Arranger/Recording Engineer)
Marcus Ho earned a Bachelor of Music degree in Bass Performance and Audio Technology at Wesley Institute in Sydney. During his stay in Sydney, Marcus studied with jazz greats such as Craig Scott, Dave Pudney, and Ron Philpot. Marcus began establishing his career as a session bass player actively performing at various clubs, restaurants, weddings and functions in Australia. After moving back to Hong Kong, Marcus has been working as a session bass player, arranger, sound engineer and producer. Marcus’ wide interests for various musical styles along with his skills in music production allowed him to explore a variety of musical settings which showcase his versatility. Artists Mr. Ho has worked with include; Peter and Andrew Cheung (張崇基張崇德) Albert Au (區瑞強) Lee Lung Kee (李龍基) Jade Kwan (關心妍), Stephen Ma (馬浚偉) and Ted Lo. Marcus is also a member of an active local jazz combo known as "maRK" quartet which recently released their original EP. maRK has also been invited to participate in Beishan World Music Festival 2013, Beishan Jazz Festival 2013 and The Hong Kong International Jazz Festival in September 2013. Marcus can be seen performing around Hong Kong at various clubs, jazz venues, weddings and private parties.
Kwok Wing Hei (Trumpet/Flugelhorn)
Kwok Wing Hei has been playing trumpet for over 18 years. He is currently a member of the Saturday Night Jazz Orchestra, Island Express Jazz Orchestra, Happy Go Lucky Big Band. In 2003, he was the winner of the Winds Contest organized by Tom Lee and Yamaha. Hei is an in demand trumpet player in Hong Kong and has played in most jazz venues in Hong Kong including the Fringe Club Backstage Live, The Melting Pot, Kubrick Café, Ned Kelly’s and many others. In 2008 Hei traveled to Boston to study with highly acclaimed trumpet teacher Mario Guarneri and Tiger Okoshi.
